The limitations of neoclassical economics in international development education

Education for international development as a field of study has been mostly dominated by neoclassical economics and the human capital theory since the early seventies. What is more, during the last decade neoclassical economics has become the unique and hegemonic paradigm to inform policy making in education in developing countries.

Identifying the conceptual roots of contemporary art

In his dissertation Camiel van Winkel identifies the conceptual roots of contemporary art. He shows that the art of today as a whole is essentially ‘post-conceptual’. The production and reception of art are determined by circumstances and factors that conceptual artists in the years 1965-75 were the first to announce.

This research examines the role of information and communication technology (ICT) in secondary mathematics and science education. In many school projects, students could apply ICT for doing research in a way that resembles research by scientists and practitioners.
