UvA services for PhD students

Individual career consultations

PhD students at the University of Amsterdam or UvA students aspiring to a PhD position can arrange for individual career advice consultations. These consultations are free of charge.

The reasons for these consultations include the following.

PhD students of the University of Amsterdam:
for personal questions about opportunities after obtaining your PhD degree, what options are available if you decide to stop studying, familiarising yourself with the job market, reorientation, applying for a job and so on.

Non-PhD Students of the University of Amsterdam:
for orientation in regards to PhD study, general information and how to obtain a PhD position at the UvA.
