The Staff Immigration Office
The Staff Immigration Office supports faculty requests for authorisations for temporary stay, work permits and various types of residence permits (with the exception of the Faculty of Science; see below). It also ensures the provision of the necessary information to new foreign employees. Foreign employees or those otherwise affiliated with the UvA may contact the Service Desk with their questions by telephone or, alternatively, make an appointment.
The Staff Immigration Office is located at the Service and Information Centre (SIC) of the UvA, Binnengasthuisstraat 9, Amsterdam. The Service Desk is open daily from 09:00 to 17:00 and closed on Wednesdays.

* The Human Resources Department of the Faculty of Science gives specific information and individual support to its own foreign staff members. The Department is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:30 and is located at Science Park 904, Amsterdam.
